Jim has been with Ralph Buckner of Etowah since the doors opened in 2003.  Jim and his lovely wife, Nancy have been married for 54 wonderful years.  They have one daughter, a son- in-law and one grandson that they call “the joy of their lives”.  Jim has lived in the Etowah area for almost 75 years.  Jim enjoys meeting and ministering to the families that come through our doors, be it with a sincere “glad to meet you” handshake, a kind word, a comforting pat on the back, a word of prayer or a listening ear.  Jim has been a member of Double Springs Baptist Church for over 30 years and has served as a Deacon since 1980.  Jim is a volunteer and board member with Claxton Fire Department and together with his wife, Nancy, he is also a volunteer and executive board member with Etowah’s own Gem Players.  Jim is proud to be a part of The Gem Players, not only because of the family oriented entertainment that they provide, but also because of the historical richness that the Gem theater offers to the Etowah community.
