Carolyn Faye Dalton, 51, a resident of Etowah, passed away Friday,
December 4, 2009 in an Athens hospital. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Rue and Marie Cain Rue.
She is survived by her companion, Donnie Cole of Etowah; children, Damien Dalton and wife, Ami and Caleb Dalton and wife, Mandie, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Hannah, Ashley and Aiden Dalton; brother, Clyde Cain of Athens; and one niece.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 7, 2009 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home of Etowah with Pastor Gary Higgins officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Shady Grove Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
