| Hoyle Reed Malone, age 87 passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at the McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. He was a resident of Knoxville and a former resident of Marietta, GA and Etowah, TN.
The son of the late Reed Amos Malone and the late Minnie Williams Malone, Hoyle was raised by Reed and Nora Sue Williams Malone. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Raines Malone. Hoyle graduated for Etowah High School, He worked for Tennessee Concrete in Chattanooga, TN. In 1963, Hoyle and his wife started Malone Floors in Marietta, GA . For the past 25years, Hoyle resided in Knozxville, TN and worked part-time at Factory Carpet. He is survived by a sister, Louise Malone Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, a brother, Patrick Amos Malone, of Lugoff, SC; nephews Joseph Patrick Malone , of Lugoff, SC, Don, Tim, and Phil Jackson ,all of Indianapolis, IN.; several great –nephews and great-nieces and a loyal friend and caregiver, Bennie Bates. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 am from the Etowah City Cemetery. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home of Etowah in charge of arrangements.
