John Henry Morgan



John Henry Morgan, 46, of Englewood, passed away March 3, 2010 at his residence. He was a brick mason and worked in construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reed Morgan and Etta Worthy Morgan; brothers, Benny Ray Morgan and Melvin Lesta Morgan; and sister, Loretta Mae Hardy.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Morgan of Englewood; children, Jacob Morgan of Englewood and Victoria Morgan of Athens; brothers, James Morgan of Crossville and Timmy Morgan of Athens; sisters, Norma Johnson of Sweetwater and Bernice Gerhardt of Cedar Grove; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Floyd Duncan officiating. Interment will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in McMinn Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
