Charles E. “Chuck” Henry
Charles E. “”Chuck” Henry, 60 of Athens, passed away March 5, 2010 at his residence.
He was born July 23, 1949 in McMinn Co. the son of the late James Alfred and Maggie (Hayes) Henry. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Johnson, brothers Alfred Avery Henry and James Jerry Henry.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Henry of Athens; son Mark Henry and wife Melissa of Sweetwater; step-children Darlene McDaniel of Athens and Tamara Stillwell of Cleveland; Sisters Juanita Calhoun and Robin Knox, sisters-in-law Linda Henry and Jan Henry; three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home of Etowah with Reverend Jerry Stephens officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00 am in McMinn Memory Gardens. A white dove release will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00.
